Stonewashed Titanium Bolt Action Pen

On first holding, I thought "this seems heavy" and internally frowned. But I changed out to my preferred ink/tip, took it to work and have been using non stop ever since. The bolt mechanism was a bit stiff to pull down at first (could still do with one hand), but it has loosened up and now it is smooth and easy. Using the Pilot precise V5 RT refills. I find the weight satisfying to write with. Today I grabbed a disposable pen off another desk at work to write a quick note. It felt funny. So I just set it back down and grabbed mine out of a pocket. I have been using those disposable pens for years. So yeah, definitely grew on me real quick I guess. Extremely happy with this pen. The pen was exactly what I was looking for. Weighty, sleek and perfectly made. The separation between the parts is invisible to me - I didn't believe it could be unscrewed until I tried.

The craftsmanship is superb. The bolt-action along with the texture of the barrel are the perfect sensory inputs for someone who fidgets, this pen has helped me relax at work. I swapped the G2 0.7mm Pilot for Blue V5 Precise 0.5mm and love it! I am now considering purchasing another one as a gift.

Apart from weapons, this is the best thing I have ever held in my hands. The gray color and texture give it a very noble, restrained look. There is no play, no extraneous noise—just real metal.

Pen was great… beautiful! The only issue I had was the ink in the hybrids tends to not be as smooth and will fade in and out, but I knew that going into it. Unfortunately the pen was stolen 2 days after I got it, so someone thought it was just as amazing!

I recently purchased this pen for my husband knowing that he had gifted one to a friend but didn't buy one for himself. He was shocked! In a good way!! He loves the titanium and feel of the pen. Totally worth the splurge as he no longer has pen envy!!
