After releasing the popular Slim Switch in 2024 we're excited to offer a standard diameter version with deep-carry clip in multiple finishes and lengths for more ink refill compatibility. Based on the Magnus ClickShift™ V1, our version is rebuilt from the ground up to simplify production, tighten up the action, and improve the overall feel. The three-piece mechanism is machined grade 5 titanium and a stainless steel or C63000 bronze actuator switch to provide a smooth action while maintaining durability.
Note: One difference from our previous version apart from the thicker diameter and bent clip is the position of the "switch" is higher up on the pen, making the overall length shorter and comparable to our Bolt Action pens.

How did this come about?
We first reached out to Magnus about the ClickShift pens he was making a while ago when the V1s were out of production and he had plans on making the V2s. We followed up in early 2024 to see if he'd be interested in licensing the mechanism and, thankfully, he agreed. We think the mechanism is one of the coolest ones around and we're excited to bring our version in production.
What do you look for in mechanisms?
When Will saw the Mitsubishi Boxy pens a few years ago he immediately wanted to do an all-metal version so we made it happen with the Side Click. Since then, we've been on the lookout for mechanisms that meet three basic requirements: 1) Manufacturable, 2) Reliable, 3) Satisfying/Fidgety. It's fairly easy to get one or two of those things but much harder to do all three.
Why just one length and diameter?
We're keeping things simple for launch with only one size and material. This mechanism is a little longer than the Bolt Actions or Side Clicks so we felt it'd be too long if we did it in the Pilot G2 size. We might do other variants in the future but, at least for now, wanted to gauge interest with titanium.

Beautiful pen, with the right width and length. Soft in the palm offering smooth writing. I use it all the time around the flight deck in my job as an airline pilot. Never using a different pen, unless it is another Tactile Turn.

I wanted something new, and I was more than surprised by the Switch Pen. It's super satisfying, fun to use, and has a great weight. Highly recommended if you're looking for something similar to a bolt action but even more addicting to use.

Tactile turn pens are extremely high quality and a joy to use. I have a side click pen I love, but have always been interested in the switch. I got a switch in stonewashed titanium and it’s the best pen I’ve ever owned. Feels amazing in your hand and the switch mechanism is extremely satisfying to use.
I had an issue with my first switch pen they shipped me where the switch itself wouldn’t stay in place. They replaced the mechanism for me very promptly and now it works great. A+ customer service.
I’ve been showing this one to coworkers and a couple have bought a tactile turn pen after playing with this one. The product sells itself!
