We'd been thinking about doing a Clip Action (internally referred to as the "Clip Actuated Bolt Action" or CABA) for a while but couldn't come up with a new or interesting way of doing it that was distinct from all the other pens out there. Then, some time in late 2025, we had the idea of a milled and bent titanium clip with a relief cut that keeps it just off the body to ensure good tension on both thin materials like dress shirts and thick materials like jeans. Matt and the team got to work creating the models which resulted in a 2-piece, dovetail-slotted carrier to secure the clip. The end result is a fidget-friendly mechanism that's a ton of fun to use and is a natural addition to our existing catalog. Made from titanium and offered in three finishes (Machined, Stonewashed, DLC) in both Standard and Short lengths, the Clip Action is our take on a simple yet elegant mechanism built to withstand a lifetime of use.

Shipping & Returns
Orders placed by 2pm Central Monday through Friday will be shipped the same day barring unforeseen circumstances. Orders placed after that time, on weekends, or over holidays will be ship the following business day. If the order includes custom clip engravings it may take an extra 1-2 business days depending on overall volume. You'll receive an email with tracking information as soon as the order ships. For returns, items must be in "like new" condition. Items with damage will be returned to the customer, so please do not send in items with scratches or signs of wear. I’ve used the bolt action and side click for so long, the clip action felt awkward initially. After a week or so, the clip is becoming my go to. I’ve got the clip action to where it feels like second nature and I’m loving it. The movement feels smoother than the bolt, and just as satisfying. I went with the machined finish and think it looks more executive desk friendly than the bolt. If an anodized version comes out in green, I will for sure pick up another.

I tried to replace the refill with a Fisher Space Pen refill with extensions/spacers but I could no get it to work.
I did replace the refill with a blue ink extra fine refill.
I like the clip action.

Excellent design, tactile finish, nice pvd finish, the engraving on the clip was disappointing , looks like it was painted on rather than engraved. Coloring was uneven.l If viewed in person I would not order that option.
