We made some pencils in 2018 and discontinued them in 2020 because we felt like they needed an update. Our new version comes with a slimmer body, bolt on the side to advance and retract the lead, and replaceable friction fit erasers on the back. The all-metal construction makes this an heirloom-quality pencil that you'll be able to pass down to future generations. In other words, these ain't your typical BICs.

TITANIUM 1.0oz
Tough, lightweight, extremely corrosion resistant, and the best-selling material we work with. If this is your first Tactile Turn product, we recommend starting with titanium.
COPPER 1.7oz
One of the few metallic elements with a natural color other than gray or silver. Naturally antimicrobial, copper will patina and darken with time and use.
BRONZE 1.5oz
Consisting mostly of copper, tin, and other metals like aluminum, manganese, nickel, or zinc. Bronze machines beautifully and looks great when highly polished or with some patina.
ZIRCONIUM 1.5oz
Directly below titanium on the periodic table with similar corrosion resistance. Zirconium is difficult to machine and one of the most expensive materials we work with but lustrous, dark grey color looks amazing.

The pencil's machined brass body is superb. The milling pattern provides plenty of grip. The weight is not too heavy, and the bolt action is smooth.

I love the feel for the grip and don't get me wrong, I've bought four of the switch pens now, my problem is with the clip area. the clip is so tight and the texture at the pinch point is going to eat my jeans or tears the paper I'm tying to clip it to. I recommend machining off the pinch point so it's smooth and then it will slide easier. I'm debating doing that to one of my pens to test it out.
