Slim Bolt Action Pen

This is my third Tactile Turn pen I’ve purchased. Not because the others have worn out or failed, but because I keep them in multiple locations. These are my goto pens. I prefer the slim over the standard, but use both. I can’t recommend these pens more. Get one and you will likely buy more so you never have to use another pen!!

I have been on the hunt for over a decade for a pen that suited my needs.

I have gone through fountain pens, different ink cartridges, different pen bodies, and I have spent far more money than I want to think about in my search.

My conclusion is that I wish I had pulled the trigger on a machined pen from this company far earlier than I did. Many of them are too heavy for my hand so I had dismissed them outright until I had run out of other options. This is my second machined pen (the other from a different maker) and it is the one I will be using going forward.

It takes a Zebra Sarasa cartridge with the most minimal of tip wiggle and no need for modification. I don't slide down the barrel on longer writing sessions, it doesn't make my hand cramp with its weight, and it's pleasing to fidget with and hold.

This was my second pen from Tactile Turn. I gave it as a retirement gift to my father-in-law. He absolutely loves it and thinks it’s incredible. The precision of the turning is excellent, and the finishing technique is ideal for someone who prizes rugged durability done flawlessly. The perfect gift.
