Lefty Bolt Action Pen

This pen is fantastic. The precision and workmanship are top notch. The mechanism has a very satisfying feel to it as well. The only downside, which is specific to lefties, is the ink that comes with it. The cartridge is a Schmidt easy flow, which does indeed flow easily, but it is not quick drying enough that my hand doesn't smudge the ink as I write- hence 4 stars instead of 5. If you're buying this pen, plan on buying a Schmidt p900 or fisher space pen refill. Both work without modifications, are relatively cheap, and dry fast enough for lefties that drag their hands.

This pen is awesome! The action has smoothed out over several days of fidgeting and the texture is great. The fit and finish of the pen is excellent but I cannot say the same for the refill. I haven’t even used the pen a week and the ink stopped. I have modified and fit a sharpie s-gel, a uni jetstream, and tried a pentel energel all have served better for a lefty. As amazing as this pen is it should come with a better refill (at least for lefties). I cannot wait to get the Rockwall and an Apollo to complete the set!
