First let me say I ordered both a pencil and a stonewashed bolt pen. The pencil is awesome, could not be happier. The bolt pen, not so much. The spring strength is way to much and the bolt grinds on the inside of the tube making cycling the pen very hard. I sat around, watched TV and cycled the bolt about a thousand times hoping it would some how "break in". It never got any easier. I finally cut down the spring and that helped a little. Then I took out the bolt and sanded it smooth and cleaned and lubed the inside of the tube. It now works a lot better but not what I expected from a $100 pen.

Starting out my engineering career and I wanted a pen to last me through it with the machining quality and attention to detail I have seen through school and try to strive for. This pen is just awesome to write with and the bolt action is so smooth and satisfying to fidget with. Hoping to add the mini version soon.
