Orders placed by 2pm Central Monday through Friday will be shipped the same day barring unforeseen circumstances. For returns, items must be in "like new" condition. Items with damage will be returned to the customer, so please do not send in items with scratches or signs of wear. Slim Side Click Pen
Just over two years after the original Side Click release, we're proud to present an updated version with the same satisfying mechanism, a slimmer diameter, and redesigned, deeper carry clip – both frequent customer requests.
The Standard [5.8"] comes with a Pilot G2 0.7 mm refill, the Short [5.3"] comes with a Schmidt EasyFlow 9000 medium refill, and the Mini [4.6"] comes with a Pilot G2 Mini 0.7mm refill. Many of our customers like to use their own personal favorites, however, and so we put together a list of compatible refills that work with our pens.

And there are four options to choose from: titanium, copper, bronze, and zirconium. We picked those four because they're popular, fun to machine, and can withstand a lifetime of use.
Tough, lightweight, extremely corrosion resistant, and the best-selling material we work with. If this is your first Tactile Turn product, we recommend starting with titanium.
One of the few metallic elements with a natural color other than gray or silver. Naturally antimicrobial, copper will patina and darken with time and use.
Consisting mostly of copper, tin, and other metals like aluminum, manganese, nickel, or zinc. Bronze machines beautifully and looks great when highly polished or with some patina.
Directly below titanium on the periodic table with similar corrosion resistance. Zirconium is difficult to machine and one of the most expensive material we work with but lustrous, dark grey-white color looks amazing.

Beautiful pens. Unfortunately I lost the first one so had to buy another but they are and write beautiful. Well crafted to the point I didn’t know where to open it for ink refill. The tolerances are that tight.

I purchased this pen because my wife liked a thinner pen for her smaller hands and the tactile feedback from the design and the ability to have a roller ball refill from many different manufacturers makes it nice to find a fine point that she loves.
I purchased the slim zirconium version because I’ve never owned a zirconium pen before and wanted something without a coating. I'm not a fan of finishes that wear poorly over time. This has quickly become one of my favorite pens.
I became a fan of side click pens after using the Fisher AG7 for years, but decided to replace it after the titanium nitride coating began to pit badly. After about a decade of daily pocket carry, the AG7 had earned its retirement and the slim version was the closest match to the size of the AG7, which I have come to prefer.
The action on this pen isn’t as smooth as the AG7 out of the box — especially on the release. Even after weeks of fidgeting to wear it in, it still requires a bit more force to disengage. That said, don’t let this discourage you if you’re looking for a premium replacement to something like the AG7. The mechanism may not be as soft, but it feels far more robust.
Surprisingly, the pen feels lighter than the AG7 despite looking larger — perhaps zirconium isn’t as dense as I expected, or it’s just better balanced. The texture on the body is excellent: it provides a secure grip without being uncomfortable during long writing sessions. Tactile Turn really nailed the feel and spacing of the machining.
Overall, I’d absolutely purchase again — and will likely give the bolt action a try next.
The zirconium version of TT's short slim side-click pen is, for me, the perfect combination of small size and reasonable weight. It's easy to carry, yet feels like a much heavier pen in the hand. If you want a hefty pen in a small package, this is a good choice. The Pilot mini-G2 refill is an excellent choice for this pen. Easy five-stars, in spite of the pen's price tag in zirconium.
Well thought out, well designed, great execution... This replaced a similar pen I had from another company in stainless, titanium is definitely the way to go for me & I'm very happy with this unit from Tactile Turn.
Aight - so I have a couple lefty bolt, the switch, and now the side click. Without a doubt, my favorite mechanism is whatever one I’m holding (including the side click).
It is every bit as satisfying as the other styles I have - just another great product - period.
