These were first released as somewhat of an afterthought with a variety of DLC shades while we were testing different coating providers. Now that we found a partner we love, all of the DLC coatings will be the same black to contrast with the vibrant, anodized pop of color on the internal and bolt.

The Tactile team know how to put together an really well made ergonomic pen. I love the feeling and grip the sleek grooves provide. So far no problems using this pen! The black DLC not only protects the Titanium pen from scratches, but it is a really cool touch! I will use this pen!

I've been wanting a standard size DLC Tactile Turn bolt action for a while. When I reached out to them, they told me a run wasn't in the immediate future. I spent a while looking for one and ended up getting a short size from Canada, which instantly became a favorite. Then, about 8 months later, they did do a large run for the Father's Day sale and I got one. The new DLC is very nice and more shiny than previous versions. Apparently, they were looking for a new vendor that could do DLC more consistently. I really like this pen. Tactile Turn does make some of the very best pens you can get and I have more of them than of any other maker. I will continue to support them in the future as they have not disappointed with any of their pens and their service has also been very good with pens. I have not had the same quality experience with their knife brand unfortunately.
