Tactile Turn x Carryology Essentials Slim Bolt Action Pen

I’ve been a repeat customer for many years. Tactile has continued to refine their already excellent products over the years. One thing I have alsways preferred was slimmer machine pens. This has been my first chance to get a slim version… it’s perfect my grip and writing style! This cemented the slim designs as my preferred from this point forward for sure. The finish on the titanium is distinct, and keeps the pen from being too flashy bright. The knurled grip gives great grip purchase on the pen on top of the distinct tactile texture throughout the barrel. I would love to see this grip style hit more releases from Tactile Turn. Not much to say about the refill: Pilot g2 (or equivalent sizes) offers a great experience and many other refill choices. Solid choice to build the own design around and surely a favorite of many. The orange bolt button is distinct pop of color. And I’m a sucker for orange! But to top this design off, the distinctive clip design. It’s excellently milled and without any sharp edges. It’s unique and makes this pen standout. I also love the texture and it’s a great fidget to gently rub when you’re thinking, writing, or just bored during another meeting. The finish on the whole pen and the bolt button has been durable so far. Quite frankly, the premium price compared to other brands is well worth it, because Tactile always seems to deliver a great pen and product. My one complaint, which will likely improve over time, is the how tight the clip is. It’s…
