INK REFILLS

These are "Standard" length Slim Bolt Action pens and come with a Pilot 0.7mm refill. Many of our customers like to use their own personal favorites, however, so we put together a list of compatible refills that work with our pens.

Auxikko Clip

With this being an EDC pen, the goal was to keep it classy and timeless, with subtle personality. We wanted a piece that feels equally at home in a suit jacket as it does in the pocket of worksite jeans. The intricate Auxikko clip pattern adds story and sophistication to the pen, elevating it to a work of art that must be seen to be believed.

Knurled Grip

Not all grips are created equal, and if you've handled as many pens as we have over the years, you know what we mean. A pen may be perfectly balanced and beautiful, but it's the hand feel and control that truly elevate the experience. So, we wanted to try a fine knurling, a complex process that presses into the material with precision to create a subtle, textured grip. The result is a hand feel that's an absolute pleasure, with refined control that enhances every use.

    One of the best textures

    This might be the collection of textures that I love the most from Tactile Turn. And I’ve been a patron since the very first Kickstarter. Collaborations are always fun to see how each product’s standard is customized and tweaked; this one is fantastic.

    Beautiful craftsmanship with a great collaboration

    I was unaware of the Tactile Turn Bolt Action Pen until it was announced that Carryology was including it as part of the "Essentials" and were collaborating with Tactile Turn. I used Retro 51s and several other pens but this pen has been a game changer. The weight on the pen is evenly distributed to make writing easy. The bolt action mechanism is, for lack of a better word, tactile. It gives a satisfying click and is secure with the hook that is machined into the barrel of the pen. The ridges provided a wonderful grip and makes the pen feel secure in your writing. I highly recommend this pen!

    Better than I expected!

    Really love this pen. I bought it as a Carryology exclusive, knowing it would be nice. The spring was pretty tight at first and made me seriously question my choice to make it a daily driver. But, like anything else, the more you use it and break it in, the better it gets. The bolt action is now second nature and flicks with ease. The pen is lightweight and coming from heavy brass pens, I still love this. The Pilot G2 refill is always a winner and this pen flows with ease.
