We first started making "thick" diameter pens when we got into durable plastics like Ultem, G10, and Tecaform to give the pen body more rigidity. Heavy-handed customers in particular liked the added girth so we started making them in titanium. The stonewashed body finish on these is a dark, matte gray which contrasts nicely with the shinier clip, bolt, and internal.

This is the 2nd purchase of a thick titanium bolt action pen. The ergonomics are outstanding. The first purchase was their first version, polished. This one, with stonewashed titanium, has ever so slight friction with the mechanism, and removing the bottom end. Its not a problem, personally, read other reviews on other pens made with stonewashed titanium. Rattling and tolerances are the same as the first. Writing is much easier with a thicker pen. Titanium is light, strong, no corrosion. The clip and pocket tension are excellent. No issues with the ink cartridges, this one and the first. Outstanding work, thank you Tactile Turn.

Very nice pen. I got the stone washed version. Love the look and feel of the metal. Sits nicely in my hand and feels very solid. Definitely well made.
The rollerball refill is OK. I changed it right away for a better one, though. Easy fix.
The engraving on the clip is also just OK. Not bad, just didn’t look as sharp as I had hoped.
The shape at the pen is something I have to get used to. I like the thickness. Wanted it that way, but the front is a little bit too bulky. Hard to describe. If the pen would taper less and over a longer portion of the dip, it would be easier to write. I hardly see the rollerball refill and that is awkward. In my view.
