G10 is a composite material that's made by layering glass cloth soaked in epoxy. It's very popular in the EDC community for knife scales because it's light and durable but there are challenges to making it into pens. Specifically, it only comes in sheets and is extremely messy to machine. The natural (jade) color will slowly darken and patina over time while the OD Green should remain unchanged. Also, the texture is prominent right out of the box but will eventually smooth on the high-wear areas.

I have several pens from Tactile Turn, and this one is one of my favorites. My larger hand loves the wider/thicker barrel size, the G10 material is light and distinctive and the textured barrel body is unique from the usual TT cut lines barrels.
Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys the Tactile Turn quality but isn’t that satisfied with the standard barrel texturing.

I love the chunkier version of the bolt action. I have one in Ultem and now one in the blue black G 10. Perfect pen in the perfect color. A home run in my book.

Fantastic. The feel of the G10 in the hand is excellent: not too rough, but grippy enough to be really pleasant to hold. The thicker diameter is very ergonomic, though it would probably look nice if it were a tad sleeker. The weight is perfect - more than I expected, but still light enough to be fatigue-free. The blue black finish looks awesome - almost woodgrain-like. And the action was smooth out of the gate. It's a winner.
