G10 is a composite material that's made by layering glass cloth soaked in epoxy. It's very popular in the EDC community for knife scales because it's light and durable but there are challenges to making it into pens. Specifically, it only comes in sheets and is extremely messy to machine. The natural (jade) color will slowly darken and patina over time while the OD Green should remain unchanged. Also, the texture is prominent right out of the box but will eventually smooth on the high-wear areas.

These are really satisfying bolt action pens. Definitely a thicker circumference than most pens out there, but they feel nice and are machined PERFECTLY. The Orange POPS. Yeah, it's a $100 pen, but it's well worth it if you're into EDC gear.

Clip is a little stiff off the rip for a chef coat sleeve and the g10 is far superior to the coated pens I’ve used in the past so far. Not too light not too heavy. Side mechanism is totally acceptable for leftys. All in all will be my daily at work until someone snags it!
