DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) is an incredibly tough coating that is often applied to improve wear characteristics and add some lubricity to the part that is being coated. For our pens, it's more of an ornamental coating to get an ultra-durable black over titanium.
Note: This batch only has Standard lengths. Short and Minis coming soon(ish).
All of our Standard length pens come with a Pilot 0.7mm refill, the Shorts come with a Schmidt EasyFlow 9000 medium refill, and the Minis come with a Pilot G2 Mini 0.7mm refill. Many of our customers like to use their own personal favorites, however, so we put together a list of compatible refills that work with our pens.
