Of the Tactile Turn pens that I have, this one is my favorite. The things that I like include the smooth surface at the pen tip and the switch for deployment of the ink cartridge. The action was a little rough at first. I tried some heavy weight knife pivot lube for the switch lever, but that didn't seem to help. I eventually ended up using some spray dry lock lube and that made the action buttery smooth. Unfortunately the anodization at the top of the internal shaft partially rubbed off already before I found the lock lube. My only other minor gripe would be that the holes have kind of a sharp edge to them and with the dry air this winter it seems like the hole edges are constantly removing the dry skin from the tips of my fingers. If I could ask for one thing to make this pen better it would be to get it without the holes, while still keeping the smooth surface finish and dimples. The ribbed finish on a lot of the other Tactile Turn pens really bothers me.

I work in Healthcare. So I cary around $1k worth of your pens in my pocket. Each a different color ink. The Divot Switch... yeah, you guys knocked that one way out of the park! Doctors are pen and watch snobs, so its fun when the see me using it and freak out. So I give them your info.

This is a really beautiful pen. Done remarkably well by the folks at Tactile Turn. The detail and the drilling of the holes is done perfectly. Not a flaw nor misplaced strike or mark that I can find. Not that I expected there to be any. It's just done perfectly. The colors are very pleasing to my eyes and the flip switch function is addicting. Mine was a little rough when just out of the box, but after a couple of weeks, it's smoother and still lots of fun to fidget with. I've almost lost count of the number of pens I now own from these guys and all of them are of the highest build quality. All are pleasing to look at and use. Yeah, they're a little on the pricey side, but for the quality, looks and function I'm a little surprised they aren't two to three times the price! Not that I'm advocating for higher pricing, they are just amazing products that you'll probably hand down to your sons and daughters. If you're undecided, just pick one you like and place the order. You'll be amazed and probably in a few years, you'll be surprised at the number of them in your collection! Keep up the great work guys and gals!

This is my 4th Tactile Turn pen and I’m still impressed with the quality and design. This is my 2nd with the side flip instead of the bolt action. While I love the bolt action, this switch is even easier to use! This pen’s drilled hole pattern has the alt color inside the holes edges and then full on in the pen body divots. This makes the alt color “pop” even more than on similar designs. The whole pen is machined to a very high tolerance and it is near impossible to feel or see the break in the body where the nose cone attaches. Very sleek. At first and second glance, it appears to be one continuous piece of metal. The ink cartridge is one of the best out there, even causing me to use them going forward from my previous choice. The pen holds up to the asking price and I really like this product. It’ll outlast me for sure. Excellent gift idea as well.
