The Standard [5.8"] comes with a Pilot G2 0.7 mm refill, the Short [5.3"] comes with a Schmidt EasyFlow 9000 medium refill, and the Mini [4.6"] comes with a Pilot G2 Mini 0.7mm refill. Many of our customers like to use their own personal favorites, however, and so we put together a list of compatible refills that work with our pens.

3 lengths, 4 materials

Side Clicks are available in Standard, Short, and Mini lengths and four materials: titanium, copper, bronze, and zirconium. We picked those four because they're popular, fun to machine, and can withstand a lifetime of use.

TITANIUM

Tough, lightweight, extremely corrosion resistant, and the best-selling material we work with. If this is your first Tactile Turn product, we recommend starting with titanium.

COPPER

One of the few metallic elements with a natural color other than gray or silver. Naturally antimicrobial, copper will patina and darken with time and use.

BRONZE

Consisting mostly of copper, tin, and other metals like aluminum, manganese, nickel, or zinc. Bronze machines beautifully and looks great when highly polished or with some patina.

ZIRCONIUM

Directly below titanium on the periodic table with similar corrosion resistance. Zirconium is difficult to machine and one of the most expensive materials we work with but lustrous, dark grey color looks amazing.

    First pen for my new desk job

    Super happy with the fit and finish of this pen. Love the fluid motion of the click. However my new desk job is 99.99% typing. I will just have to doodle with it during my free time. Great job, It was so good I bought a lefty bolt action cause why not and one of their Chupacabra knives. Outstanding yall.

    Beautiful Craftmanship and Quality

    My bar was pretty high for the Tactile Turn pen and I'm happy to say it did not disappoint. I love the weight, the materials, and the texture. It makes for a pen that feels premium and indestructible. The action is smooth and enjoyable to fiddle with as well. Best of all, I can put my favorite insert in it, which is a huge win. I couldn't recommend this pen more.

    Great Workhorse Pen

    I use this pen to hold a Pilot Frixion erasable ink refill. I use that refill in my planner every day to decide in what order to tackle the day's to do list. The ability to erase things and move them around comes in very handy and allows me to make adjustments "on the fly". As a result, this Side Click pen is in constant use throughout the day.

    The machining, fit, finish, balance and feel of this pen are all terrific. The mechanism is smooth as silk.

    I really enjoy having a handsome, first rate, well made tool to work with. It helps make the task of daily planning much more enjoyable.

    Cool pen

    Simple design. Nice decently heavy weight to it for being the lightest material(titanium). Really nothing negative to say about it. U get what you pay for and I wanted a high quality, loud-ish pen that is made in the USA and that’s what I received.
