Machining is typically about repeatable precision but, when you get thrown a curveball, sometimes it requires thinking outside the box. The niobium rods in our latest batch of Superconductor weren't centered so, rather than etching the copper to expose the rods like in past releases, we instead etched and electrically darkened the niobium while keeping the copper largely intact. The end result is a beautiful, unique look which we're calling "ALT Superconductor" to differentiate it from our previous Full Superconductor drops.
