For our latest Seasonal Release, we opened the floodgates of interpretation with random, hand-applied black splatter over a white Cerakote base. Each pen is completely unique and can offer a deeper look into your psyche like a Rorschach test, evoke aesthetics of modern art, streetwear, or graffiti, remind you of 101 cute little puppies, or simply be pleasing to the eye. The Abstract is built on our best-selling Titanium Bolt Action pen with the option for a Black, Red, Blue, or Yellow back piece accent and DLC bolt and internal. Offered in Standard and Short lengths, this pen is sure to turn heads as an expression of whatever you want it to be. Creativity strongly encouraged, that's the point.
Controlled Chaos
Each pen features a multi-layer Cerakote finish that's hand applied in house by our skilled paint team. The stark contrast of black and white is paired with an optional pop of color to complete the look.
Custom Cerakote Finishing
Cerakote is a thin coating of ceramic that's applied to the surface of our titanium pens. It's abrasion, chemical, temperature, and scratch-resistant but not proof. Hard wear will still show on Cerakote but we love that it gives us the ability to put colors on our pens without adding any serious weight or thickness.

These pens bring me a bit of joy every time I pick one up. (Being more than a little insane when it comes tonwriting instruments, I bought all four colors.)
I rotate Pilot G2, Pilot Frixion and Pilot Precise refills with these pens. Each type serves a purpose as I work in my planner, my journals and notebooks and as I edit or annotate documents.
The quality is there, as with all my Tactile Turn pens. And the design just brings me that extra but of joy.

My 3rd limited release. This one appears to stand out - in a very positive way - as just a bit rougher in finish than the previous units. Allows for a great grip. Visually - wonderful.

The Abstract is hands-down the most interesting design I have amongst my Tactile Turn pens. I have a few (seven, so far) TT pens which I've bought over the past several years, with four (including the Abstract) being limited releases or special editions. The Abstract stands above them all due to the visual design being so attractive, the ability to choose between their Standard or Short lengths, and the one-of-a-kind nature of each pen being unique due to the way they are manufactured.
I am fixated enough on the writing experience that I tend to swap out the refill cartridges when I receive TT pens, but that is actually one of the things I love about their designs; I can know with confidence that my preferred refills will always fit the pens I buy from TT, and I can retain the flexibility of having the exact writing experience and feel that I desire whilst also enjoying the designs from TT.

If you're tuned into our Limited Release drops of exotic treatments and materials, you probably noticed that they tend to sell out pretty fast. Seasonal Releases are much easier to get your hands on because, instead of a set quantity, they're available for a set period of time. No fast fingers required or having to dip out of that important work meeting to try and snag one from your phone in the bathroom.
