Previously, we added 2mm of length and made the tip hole smaller to work with the Uni-ball Jetstream SXR-7 ink refill but this new version is the exact same as our right-handed models except... flipped. The Standard [5.6"] comes with a Pilot G2 0.7mm refill, the Short [5.1"] comes with a Schmidt EasyFlow 9000 medium refill, and the Mini [4.4"] comes with a Pilot G2 Mini 0.7mm refill. Many of our customers like to use their own personal favorites, however, so we put together a list of compatible refills that work with our pens.

    Good pen but problems

    I like the pen. The problem is the bolt is a right handed configuration put on the opposite side. The milled slot should curve the opposite direction making it easier to lock. The threaded cap that holds the clip popped off on own because it only had a half of a thread engaged to the body. I had to turn the cap down so more threads would engage. For what I paid that cap should have full thread engagement. I am a machinist with over twenty five years experience. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

    Balanced, durable, and light

    I bought this pen to replace a right-handed version, and I enjoy the 'Lefty' version more. It's a small but noticeable difference. The pen is well-balanced, and its weight is lighter than other metal pens I own. I use it as an everyday carry with a notebook, and it hasn't disappointed.

    My son loves his new lefty bolt action pen

    The personalized pen was for my left hand son. It was his Christmas gift request and he was very pleased with it when he opened it Christmas day! I was intrigued by the fidget bolt action and can see how this would be useful.
