We first came across Tecaform AH UD Blue at SHOT Show 2023 and immediately knew it was something we wanted to try so our friends at Boedeker Plastics in Shiner, TX worked with us to cut down a sheet into ground rods. Tecaform is an acetal copolymer (plastic) specifically designed for the food service industry as it can be detected with x-ray, metal detection, or optical scanners due to the metal flakes found throughout. This pen feature a deep blue color with a glittery appearance, oversized diameter like our Ultem pens, polished clip and bolt carrier, and our signature texture running the full length. Try not to lose it.

The clip is loose compared to other TT pens and doesn’t grip as well. The Fisher Space Pen refill is ever-so slightly too wide and gets caught when I try to retract the pen.
I love the wider body and the texture though, just a little disappointed in the other defects.

I purchased this for my GF. She's recently developed an interest in EDC items. She loves it. Has a much lighter weight
I was hoping she'd use it at work. She liked it so much she's leaving in the case with other favs. Occasionally taking it out to sign something. But that's how she enjoys her EDC stuff . Love the pen going to grab one for myself.

I waited for this to be produced again, and bought it as soon as I received an email that it was available again. I like the texture of the material, which provides fantastic grip. I am using my pen daily to take notes in law school. I’m still as “analog” as possible and prefer to take handwritten notes on paper. I’m happy with my purchase. I will mention it came with black ink which I immediately switched out for a blue refill. All in all, a fantastic pen with excellent workmanship. I look forward to trying the G10 pen when it is available again!
