Mokume-gane is a Japanese technique of forge welding metals together to form patterns and translating closely to "wood grain metal." This is the first time we're using the it since April of 2021 because it's so darn hard to find good looking, consistently-sized material that we can make into pens. The tips and tops have our signature 'tactile' texture and we chemically jumpstarted the patina process to bring out the contrast between the alloys.

Note: Mokume-gane metal is hand made and may contain minor imperfections that add to the unique character without affecting the pen's function.
