We made some pencils in 2018 and discontinued them in 2020 because we felt like they needed an update. Our new version comes with a slimmer body, bolt on the side to advance and retract the lead, and replaceable friction fit erasers on the back. The all-metal construction makes this an heirloom-quality pencil that you'll be able to pass down to future generations. In other words, these ain't your typical BICs.

And there are four options to choose from: titanium, copper, bronze, and zirconium. We picked those four because they're popular, fun to machine, and can withstand a lifetime of use.
TITANIUM 1.0oz
Tough, lightweight, extremely corrosion resistant, and the best-selling material we work with. If this is your first Tactile Turn product, we recommend starting with titanium.
COPPER 1.7oz
One of the few metallic elements with a natural color other than gray or silver. Naturally antimicrobial, copper will patina and darken with time and use.
BRONZE 1.5oz
Consisting mostly of copper, tin, and other metals like aluminum, manganese, nickel, or zinc. Bronze machines beautifully and looks great when highly polished or with some patina.
ZIRCONIUM 1.5oz
Directly below titanium on the periodic table with similar corrosion resistance. Zirconium is difficult to machine and one of the most expensive materials we work with but lustrous, dark grey color looks amazing.

The quality and craftsmanship of the pencil is what I’ve come to expect from TT. I do wish these came in a slightly wider body (more like the standard bolt action) but this is an excellent product that I use daily.

Money well spent, holds up too the hype! It won’t be breaking on the job or be damaged in construction work. Tolerances are so tight you can barely see the seams at all! Great product, will be buying more from Tactile Turn in the future!

It is a well built pencil that should last a lifetime. The milling is very tactile and helps to grip and writes very well. The mechanism works well and does a great job advancing the lead and keeps it in place while writing. I think the weight or heft of the pencil is a bit light, I wish It had a more substantial presence. I bought it with a matching switch pen that was bought to go along with my Maverick knife.

I bought this as a durable mechanical pencil option. I would say it's very nice aesthetically and durability-wise, but the design is a wee bit strange. The pencil lead has to be loaded from the tip (unless I somehow missed a feature.) and I still don't 100% know how to take it apart in case I need to clean it (I think it twists apart? I'm guessing because I don't want to damage it and could only find FAQ on their pens.)
