Bronze Bolt Action Pen

Regular price $99.00

Write like you mean it.
The unique bolt action shape allows for one fluid motion to advance or retract the refill. Because the surfaces of both the interior part and the inside surface have been carefully machined to be extra smooth, the action feels amazingly satisfying. If there’s one pen that we recommend to new customers, it’s this one.

All that glitters isn't gold

Bronze is an alloy consisting mostly of copper, tin, and other metals like aluminium, manganese, nickel, or zinc. It machines beautifully and looks great when highly polished or when it has some patina. All parts of these pens are made from bronze except the clip and bolt which are stainless steel.

Add a Ti Damascus Bolt

Titanium Damascus is different alloys of titanium that are forged together and twisted to create a cool pattern. After they are machined, we heat them to bring out the pattern. Every bolt looks a little different. These are unique pieces and every one has variation from the next.

Great Pen, But Can Be Top-Heavy For Small Hands

The mechanism is so very satisfying! I love the feel of clicking it when I get to writing my notes, and to my surprise, the included cartridge performs very well with no smudging or skipping in my short time using it. One unfortunate thing to note is that this is a rather evenly balanced pen at the midpoint of the pen. This results in a really top-heavy pen when in a normal writing grip. Really, this is my fault for spacing on this detail and I only mention this for other potential buyers. If you have small-sized hands, go for the the Mini. Medium-sized hands will likely prefer the Short.

Couldn't be happier!

I had the original from years back and this one is even better. The bolt release is much snappier. Engaging the bolt takes a little more force than before, but gets better as you use it. Love the flatter end as well. I got the engraving and look forward to using this in the office.

Amazing

I use to use cheap pens everyday for work. Always running out of ink or they snap from sitting on them. This pen is sturdy and feels great in my hand. The bronze patinas very nicely as well!

Top Quality Pen….perfect in every sense

The bronze bolt action pen (standard size) is a perfectly engineered and built pen. The bolt action is flawless and of course it has my favorite Pilot G2 ink. The bronze with the damascus clip looks amazing. Don’t think about it….just buy it. You won’t be disappointed.

Love this pen!

Fantastic pen, but it lost its luster in a day. I wish I would have purchased the titanium version.
